Historic Lynnfield announces Country Store 2025

LYNNFIELD– Historic Lynnfield’s Country Store will take place Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Old Meeting House. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and stay open through 2 p.m. Vendors will include favorites from the past, as well as some exciting new additions to the store.

This year’s Country Store will feature beautifully decorated fresh wreaths and swags, the popular Cheese Man Vermont cheddar cheese, Mrs. Claus’ Snacks and Lunch Kitchen, featuring pizza from Cal’s Brick Oven Pizza, popcorn, Poppycock, coffee, hot cocoa and more, Singing Marshes Jelly and Jams, Sweet Lizzy’s delicious baked goods, The Village Home and Garden Club of Lynnfield beautiful evergreen arrangements, and the Centre Club Lottery Contest.

Craft vendors include Acorn & Birch Apothecary, featuring soaps, lotion, and beautiful homemade cards. Busy Fingers will be back selling homemade blankets and gift baskets. Other vendors include Lupine Lane Apiary, Christmas ornaments from Handmade by Hollis Colby, kids’ craft items by Deanna McCormick, beautiful crochet stuffed animals and blankets by Seriously Magical Creations, Trina Steph Sparkle Stocks & Stocking Stuffers, and Zuzaluna’s Pottery & Candles.

For the kids, the “penny” candy store will make a return this year, sponsored by the Kilgore family, and the Holiday Ornament Decorating station is back, sponsored by the Nascembeni and DiFillippo families, where children will be invited to decorate ornaments to take home as a remembrance of this beloved annual tradition. Connor’s Kindness will be operating the very popular North Pole Fishing Hole.

For entertainment, the popular Voices of Hope chorus will perform upstairs at 10 a.m. Santa arrives by way of the North Pole on a Fire truck at 10:45 a.m. There will also be a performance by violinist Natalia Morello at 1 p.m. The Lynnfield Recreation Department Tree Lighting Festivities begin at 3 p.m.

This year’s volunteers are being led by the Country Store committee consisting of Historic Lynnfield Co-Chairs Karen Hathaway and Karen Nascembeni, Lynnfield Historical Commission board members Kirk Mansfield and John Michalski, and Historic Lynnfield Board Members Ellen Crawford, Georgann Lieb, and Lauri Priestley.
