The staff at Life Care Center of the North Shore should be complimented for the wonderful Thanksgiving Day meal they provided to their residents and patients.
A special compliment should be given to Barbara McCarthy, who spends weeks planning for the holidays. She also provides a weekday breakfast for everyone in the building in the first-floor dining room. She has been doing this for years.
In recent days, there has been a rumor that Barbara may retire at the end of the year. If she does decide to retire, I’m sure everyone would like to wish her a happy and healthy retirement. She will be sorely missed.
