LYNN

Arrests

Jairon Esteban Garcia, 28, of Bowler Street, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Monday for charges of operating under the influence, serious injury, and leaving the scene of personal injury.

Ruddy Perez Medina, 25, of Waverly Street, was arrested at 6:33 p.m. Monday for charges of distributing Class B drugs and trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl. 

Jose Herrera Aybar, 22, of Waverly Street, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Monday for charges of distributing Class B drugs and trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl. 

Todd McDermott, 35, of Willow Street, was arrested at 2:24 a.m. Monday for charges of trespassing, vandalism, and willful malicious wanton damage.

Assault

A report of an assault at 11:54 a.m. Monday on Atlantic Street.

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 12:12 p.m. Monday on Beach Road, 1:04 p.m. on Silsbee Street, 1:48 p.m. on Essex Street, 2:47 p.m. on Robinson Street, 3:37 p.m. on Lynnway, and 8:03 p.m. on Franklin Street.

Fights

A report of a fight at 3:11 a.m. Monday on High Street. 

Hazardous Conditions

A report of a hazardous condition at 5:08 p.m. Monday on Lewis Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 9 a.m. Monday on Union Street, 11:20 a.m. on Bessom Street, 8:31 p.m. on Neptune Boulevard, and 11:41 p.m. on Lynn Shore Drive. 

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 5:59 a.m. Monday on Western Avenue, 1:52 p.m. on Rockdale Avenue, and 5:20 p.m. on Franklin Street. 

A report of a motor vehicle problem at 6:06 p.m. Monday on Essex Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:49 a.m. Monday on Bowler Street, 8:06 a.m. on Friend Street, and 11:55 p.m. on Union Street. 

A reprot of a motor vehicle theft at 10:16 p.m. Monday on Walnut Street.

Noises

A report of noises at 1:14 a.m. Monday on Joyce Street.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 11:54 a.m. Monday on Eastern Avenue. 

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 2:07 a.m. Monday on High Street, 2:27 a.m. on Market Street, 9:54 a.m. on Franklin Street, 11:46 a.m. on Essex Street, and 3:13 p.m. on High Street.

Uninvited Guests

A report of an uninvited guest at 3:42 p.m. Monday on Washington Street.

 

SAUGUS

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 6:45 a.m. Monday at Kohl’s on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at Hammersmith Drive. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 6:45 p.m. at Eastern Bank on Lincoln Avenue. Accidental/defective alarm.  

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 12:14 a.m. Monday at Kowloon on Broadway. Caller reported a Portuguese interpreter who reported an altercation in the parking lot. Report taken; a report at 1:35 p.m. at Walmart on Broadway. Caller reported a disturbance over items at checkout. Peace restored.  

DPW Complaint

A report of a DPW complaint at 7:57 p.m. Monday on Ballard Street. Caller reported waiting at the lights to turn left onto the 107 Bridge. Stated he waited at the left for approximately 7 minutes, and it had not changed. Referred to another agency.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:47 a.m. Monday at Speedway on Broadway. Caller reported that a vehicle went onto the sidewalk, hit another vehicle, a hydrant, and a pole. Removed to hospital; a report at 10:11 a.m. on Tara Lane and Walnut Street. Report taken; a report at 10:07 p.m. on Essex Street. Caller reported a two-car accident with one vehicle on its side. Report taken.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 7:32 a.m. Monday at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 6:05 p.m. on Lynn Fells Parkway at Forest Street. Verbal warning.  

Neighborhood Dispute

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 8:27 p.m. Monday on Rice Street. A female reported getting into a dispute with an unknown male in her apartment complex after stating she told the male his dog could not roam freely in the apartment building. Investigated. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 12:14 p.m. Monday at Macy’s at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Loss prevention called and reported a past shoplifting. Report taken. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 3:18 p.m. Monday on Warden Street. Investigated; a report at 6:52 p.m. at First Congregational Church on Central Street. Caller reported three males smoking cigarettes and circling the area of the church and the ATM at the bank next door. The church was hosting a meeting. No issues. No police service necessary.

 

SWAMPSCOTT

Area Checks

Reports of area checks at 2:22 a.m. Monday on Essex Street, 6:41 a.m. on Humphrey Street, 9:08 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 10:33 a.m. on Humphrey Street, 11:34 a.m. on Forest Avenue, and 4:04 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.

Juvenile Problem

A report of a juvenile problem at 10:45 a.m. Monday on Whitman Road.

Larceny

A report of larceny at 4:27 p.m. Monday on Essex Street.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:45 p.m. Monday on Humphrey Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 4:35 p.m. Monday on Essex Street, 7:33 p.m. on Essex Street, 7:39 p.m. on Humphrey Street and Phillips Avenue, and 10:09 p.m. on Ellis Road and Paradise Road.
