The Sachems (2-3) picked up their second win of the season with a 71-58 home victory over Boston United.
Jordan Rodriguez scored 23 points and Ryan Shea added 21 to lead Saugus. Huey Josama chipped in 16, while Cristian Dean (6) and Ryan Dupuy (5) rounded out the scoring.

Playing on the road was no problem for the Pioneers (2-1). Junior Grant Neal posted a monster double-double with 30 points and 12 rebounds to power Lynnfield past Pentucket.
Justin Flores scored 14, while sophomore Cam Chisholm (11) and freshman Brandon Doherty (10) each scored in double figures.

Tewksbury Memorial 34
The Big Blue bounced back from a loss with a hard-fought home win over Tewksbury Memorial. Sam Ward led Swampscott with 18 points. Cecilia Tripp added nine points and six rebounds, while sophomore Anna Kanders scored eight.
Swampscott returns to action Monday at 10 a.m. against Essex Tech in the first round of the Danvers Holiday Tournament.

After scoring 61 points in its previous game, Lynnfield’s offense struggled against a strong Pentucket squad.
Chloe Grieves led Lynnfield with eight points and seven rebounds.
Peabody 49

The Tanners (4-0) remained unbeaten with their fourth straight win. Olivia Gaynor led Peabody with 16 points and five assists.
Peabody’s frontcourt of Lizzie Bettencourt and Sophia Coburn filled the stat sheet. Bettencourt finished with eight points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and two steals, while Coburn added eight points, nine rebounds and five blocks.
Aliana Ryan was everywhere on defense finishing with five steals, while scoring eight points.

The Magicians extended their winning streak to three games and improved to 3-1. Marblehead will look to keep its momentum going Tuesday against Shawsheen Valley Tech at 7 p.m.

The Lady Headers dropped a close decision and fell to 1-4. Marblehead will try to get back in the win column Sunday against Barnstable at 10:30 a.m.

The Tigers turned in a strong meet despite limited first-place finishes. Johndeiry Batista won the 50 freestyle, while Addisyn Brown captured the 500 freestyle and diving events.
Jazlene Ledesma took first in the 100 backstroke.
Lynn Tech also won the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. The 200 team included Batista, Colin Newhall, Felipe De Oliveira and Ryan Anderson, while the 400 relay featured Newhall, Anderson, Isaac Powers and Brown.
