Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 10:22 a.m. Monday on Broadway. A staff member at the Veterinary Urgent Care Center was bitten while working with a canine. Services rendered; a report at 6:29 p.m. on Broadway. Caller reported that a kitten was in the engine of a car. Caller stated the cat was caught. Animal control took the cat to a shelter. Services rendered.  

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 3:37 p.m. Monday on Milan Avenue. A woman reported that a man was unwanted in her home, and she would like him removed. Peace restored; a report at 11:55 p.m. at Hooters on Broadway. The restaurant manager called and advised that a male patron was refusing to pay his bill. Peace restored.

Found Property

A walk-in report of a found property at 11:30 p.m. Monday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station and turned in a wallet. Returned to home or family.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 1:06 p.m. Monday on Rockwood Drive. A woman walked into the station and reported that her laptop was stolen out of her vehicle. Report taken.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:02 a.m. Monday at Walnut Place on Broadway. Caller reported a minor accident with two individuals yelling at each other. Area search negative; a report at 8:32 p.m. on Walnut Street. Caller reported being in an accident. She stated her front bumper was completely off and that there may have been a third vehicle involved. Medical assistance refused.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 11:18 a.m. Monday at J. Pace and Sons on Main Street. Citation issued; a report at 6:42 p.m. on Winter Street. Verbal warning; a report at 7:10 p.m. on Main Street. Citation issued; a report at 7:50 p.m. on Central Street. Citation warning; a report at 8:27 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue. Investigated; a report at 10:16 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue. Citation warning.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 8:48 p.m. Monday at Bristow Park on Bristow Street. Investigated.
