MARBLEHEAD — Marblehead High School is pleased to announce Karl Tenenholtz as the varsity boys tennis head coach for the 2025-2026 season. Tenenholtz is an avid tennis player and enjoys competitive and recreational play. He has 13 years of coaching experience at both the high school and youth levels, developing players and building strong, team-oriented programs. He coached varsity high school tennis for six years and was Marblehead’s junior varsity coach last spring.
Tenenholtz enjoys coaching techniques and strategy, as well as the importance of work ethic and teamwork. He is dedicated to teaching the values of sportsmanship and respect into his tennis program.
In addition to tennis, Tenenholtz is a dedicated math teacher, JV soccer coach, and middle school basketball coach at Marblehead High School and Marblehead Veterans Middle School.
“Karl has dedicated his career to working with high school students and is a respected member of the Marblehead High School community. He is a respected math teacher at MHS and has done an outstanding job coaching sub-varsity soccer, tennis and basketball. I am excited to have him lead our varsity boys tennis team this spring,” said Athletic Director Kent Wheeler.
