LYNN — Driving on Route 1A, known as the Lynnway, travelers may notice a billboard advertising adult diapers.

The billboard features limited text with two taglines: “Leaks Stop Here” and “For Even The Heaviest Control Problems.” It also features the company’s logo and name: “NorthShore Care.”

Besides the taglines and company name, there is no contact information or website link for viewers to follow.

NorthShore Care CEO Adam Greenberg said the purpose of the advertisement is to “start a conversation around adult diapers and let people know that there are options much better than the store brands that can help them regain the confidence they need to maintain a normal lifestyle, even with incontinence.”

The company is not related to Massachusetts’ North Shore, according to Greenberg.

NorthShore Care is a medical supply company based on the North Shore of Lake Michigan and was founded in 2002 by Greenberg, he said.

Greenberg said the location for the billboard was chosen because it is in a highly trafficked area in the “heart of the North Shore of Boston.”

NorthShore has another billboard advertisement located on I-93 in Somerville.

The billboard is located between 583 and 595 Lynnway and is owned by Clear Channel Outdoor, an international media company based in San Antonio, Texas, specializing in out-of-home advertising.
