Lynn, Revere report new virus cases

A handful of new coronavirus cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn and Revere on Thursday.
No additional cases were reported in several other North Shore communities.
Lynn continued its month-long trend with reporting a low day-to-day increase in cases on Thursday, with 15 new confirmed cases, according to city data.
The city’s total number of cases now stands at 3,479, when factoring in the 91 residents who have died and the 1,807 people who have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
With 21 new cases reported on Thursday, Revere’s numbers now stand at 1,697 cases and 76 deaths — 1,361 residents have recovered, according to the city website.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (93 cases and 11 deaths) and Nahant (41 cases and six deaths).
At press time, Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus and Swampscott had not released updated numbers.
As of Wednesday, Marblehead has 224 cases and 30 deaths, Peabody has 1,001 cases and 137 deaths, Saugus has 526 cases and 30 deaths, and in Swampscott, 123 residents have been infected and eight have died.
