Coronavirus case numbers are continuing their downward trend on the North Shore.
Nine new cases were reported in Lynn on Thursday, but numbers remained unchanged in several other communities.
Lynn’s numbers have been trending downward since early May, with that trend continuing on Thursday.
With a handful of reported new cases, the city now has 3,546 cases and 95 deaths, with its fatality count remaining the same. Of Lynn’s total cases, 1,270 are active and 2,181 people have recovered from the virus.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (96 cases and 11 deaths), Marblehead (225 cases and 30 deaths), and Nahant (41 cases and six deaths) on Thursday.
At press time, Peabody, Revere, Saugus and Swampscott had not released updated numbers.
As of Wednesday, Peabody has 1,026 and 151 deaths, Revere has 1,738 cases and 78 deaths, Saugus has 545 cases and 31 deaths, and in Swampscott, 127 people have been infected and eight have died.
