Lynn, Revere report additional virus deaths
Additional coronavirus deaths were reported in Lynn and Revere and new cases were seen in several North Shore communities on Wednesday.
Revere reported three additional deaths to bring the city’s death toll to 87.
Lynn’s death toll is now 102 after another virus fatality was reported on Wednesday.
Lynn and Revere reported a similar number of new cases, seven and eight respectively, to bring their respective case counts to 3,675 and 1,825.
In Lynn, 667 cases are active because 2,906 people have recovered from the virus. Revere reported 1,517 people have recovered.
Peabody reported two new cases, but no additional deaths since Monday. The city’s new numbers are 1,059 cases and 164 deaths — 825 people have recovered from the virus, according to Health Director Sharon Cameron.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (101 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (42 cases, six deaths) on Wednesday, and were not updated in Marblehead (230 cases, 30 deaths), Saugus (557 cases, 36 deaths) and Swampscott (129 cases, eight deaths).
