NEW VIRUS CASES IN LYNN, MARBLEHEAD, AND REVERE

New coronavirus cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn, Marblehead and Revere on Tuesday.

Numbers remained the same or were not updated in several other North Shore communities.

In Lynn, 11 new cases were reported on Tuesday to bring the city’s total number of cases to 4,494. Of that total, 660 cases are active, 113 people have died and 3,721 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.

Revere reported 10 new cases to bring the city’s caseload to 2,323. Ninety-four people have died and 2,078 have recovered, according to the city website.

An additional case has been reported in Marblehead since last Wednesday. The town now has 262 cases and 30 people have died.

Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (109 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) on Tuesday and were not updated in Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott.

As of Monday, Peabody had 1,226 cases and 176 deaths. Swampscott (153 cases, 10 deaths) and Saugus (626 cases, 39 deaths) have not released updated numbers since last Thursday and Wednesday respectively.
