NEW VIRUS CASES, NO ADDITIONAL DEATHS REPORTED

New cases, but no additional deaths were reported Monday in several North Shore communities.

In Lynn, nine new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 4,929. Of that total, 482 cases are active, 1118 people have died, and 4,329 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.

Six new cases were reported in Lynnfield to bring the town’s total numbers to 143 cases and 14 deaths, according to the town website.

Marblehead reported three new cases to bring the town’s caseload to 262. Thirty people have died.

In Peabody, 10 new cases were reported Monday. The city now has 1,298 cases, 183 deaths and 994 people have recovered, according to the health department.

Revere has reported 36 new cases since last Friday, but had not updated its numbers Monday by press time. As of Sunday, the city had 2,710 cases and 103 deaths, according to the city website.

Eight new cases have been reported in Saugus since last Wednesday to bring the town’s caseload to 710. Forty-one people have died.

But numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and Swampscott (168 cases, 11 deaths).
