LYNN AND REVERE REPORT ANOTHER SPIKE IN VIRUS CASES

Lynn and Revere both saw another spike in coronavirus cases on Tuesday, with each reporting more than 40 new cases.
Lynn also reported an additional death to bring the city’s death toll to 125.
With 45 new cases reported on Tuesday, Lynn now has 6,200 cases, 781 of which are active. A total of 5,294 people have recovered, according to city data.
In Revere, 45 new cases were reported, bringing the city’s total numbers to 3,693 cases and 109 deaths, according to the city website.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (201 cases, 14 deaths) and Nahant (72 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott on Tuesday.
As of Monday, Peabody had 1,660 cases and 193 deaths and Swampscott had 208 cases and 11 deaths. Marblehead (302 cases, 30 deaths) and Saugus (921 cases, 44 deaths) have not provided updated numbers since last Friday.
