LYNN REPORTS NEW VIRUS CASES, FOUR ADDITIONAL DEATHS

Lynn reported another coronavirus case spike and four additional deaths Monday.
The city’s death toll is now 175.
Ninety-four new cases were reported Monday in Lynn to bring the city’s caseload to 14,125. Of that total, 1,985 cases are active and 11,965 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
In Peabody, 96 new cases and two additional deaths have been reported since last Friday. The city now has 5,509 cases, 264 deaths, and 4,152 people have recovered, according to the health department.
Revere reported 46 new cases and two additional deaths to bring the city’s total numbers to 8,688 cases and 137 deaths, the city website reported.
In Lynnfield, 25 new cases and three additional deaths have been reported since last Friday. The town now has 886 cases and 27 people have died, the town website said.
Eighty new cases have been reported in Salem since last Friday, which brings the city’s caseload to 3,609. Sixty-four people have died, according to the city website.
Swampscott has reported 21 new cases since last Thursday to bring the town’s caseload to 832. Its death toll is 13, according to the town website.
Six new cases were reported in Nahant, which has 206 cases and six deaths, the town website reported.
Numbers have not been updated in Marblehead (919 cases, 31 deaths) or Saugus (3,060 cases, 58 deaths) since last Friday and Thursday respectively.
