LYNN REPORTS NEW VIRUS CASES, FIVE ADDITIONAL DEATHS

Five more Lynn residents have died from the coronavirus since last Friday to bring the city’s death toll to 208.
And 26 new cases were reported in Lynn to bring the city’s caseload to 16,434. Of that total, 369 cases are active and 15,857 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Peabody has reported 91 new cases and an additional death since last Wednesday. The city now has 6,652 cases, 306 people have died and 5,807 have recovered from the virus, the health department reported.
An additional death was also reported in Nahant. The town’s death toll is now nine, but its total number of cases remained the same at 243, according to the town website.
Swampscott (1,050 cases, 19 deaths) has reported 15 new cases since last Thursday; Lynnfield (1,112 cases, 29 deaths) has reported four new cases since last Friday; and Revere (10,123 cases, 159 deaths) reported three new cases.
Salem had 4,326 cases and 78 deaths as of Monday, and numbers have not been updated in Marblehead (1,231 cases, 31 deaths) or Saugus (3,818 cases, 67 deaths) since last Friday.
