About Classroom to the Streets (CTTS)
CTTS is an educational program and teacher fellowship where we partner with schools to bring public art to the classroom setting with curriculum and mural tours with thousands of students.
CTTS uses the power of public art to transform learning, deepen community connections, and inspire change. By bringing students, educators, and artists together, we turn the streets into classrooms– empowering the exploration of identity, culture, and community through art.
Each year of CTTS, visiting artists create building-sized artworks in collaboration with Lynn Educators and High School Junior Fellows. Prior to the Two week installation period in Lynn, cohorts meet and ideate the mural concepts over a shared prompt. The result... stunning artworks reflective of the ideas, community feedback, and youth experiences from Lynn students.
