Join RAW for our annual Exhibit Opening + Block Party! Each year, more than 1,000 youth, families, artists, and neighbors gather outside RAW to celebrate the creativity and voices of young people. This event is free and open to the public!

This year’s exhibition, Undercurrents, explores the stories, emotions, and resilience that exist beneath the surface in the lives of RAW youth and our communities. Through art, young people invite us to reflect, respond, and imagine a more welcoming world.

We are also celebrating BASH Reimagined. In a moment when many young people and families are navigating uncertainty and change, RAW is choosing to gather in ways that center creativity, connection, and belonging.

Instead of a traditional fundraising gala, we’re giving our dancing shoes a break and inviting our supporters to put on their “Team RAW” t-shirts to cheer on our young artists and show up for community at the Exhibit Opening + Block Party on May 28th. In celebration, we will create a large-scale collaborative art installation on RAW’s building façade - a piece built by all, in community. Central Square will come to life with live art-making, music and performances, curated art, and opportunities to support RAW’s mission in addition to all of the traditional elements of our Annual Block Party.
