Christmas is one of the most joyous times of the year for everyone, especially young children. Throughout the whole month of December, anticipation slowly builds. Families head to the Christmas tree farms and pick out the perfect evergreen tree to bring their home together. As the month goes on, the tree becomes decorated head to toe with lights and ornaments, just waiting for that one special morning.
It is an early morning in most homes as the kids wake up with a smile across their faces eager to wake up the rest of the family. They race their way to the glowing tree to see that Santa ate all the cookies, drank every last drop of milk, and left an array of differently sized and colored presents.
There’s no mess greater than a Christmas morning mess. Wrapping paper and cardboard boxes that once held the most wanted gifts strewed all over the house. Candy wrappers from all the sugary goods that stuffed the stockings found in the couch cushions.
These memories created on Christmas morning are ones that children carry on with them forever. The children eventually grow up wanting to create that same experience they had for their children.
Unfortunately, some families don’t get the privilege to experience the Christmas morning that was just imagined. Despite wanting nothing more than to give that experience to their children and family, their struggles surpass the ability to do that.
A mother of one is seeking help in giving that magical Christmas experience to her daughter this year. They are a low-income family with money going directly to bills, groceries, and other necessities. Although they are a low-income family, this mother has the same wishes as every other family around the world, a wish to see overwhelming joy on their children’s faces on Christmas.
This mother expresses her extreme appreciation for those who are willing to help her and her daughter this season. She sends her blessings to anyone who can help her out solely for the sake of her daughter.
