LYNN

Arrests

Brandon Collins Dixon, 18, of Eastern Avenue, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. Monday for charges of armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious damage to a motor vehicle, and destruction of property over $1200. 

Alarms

Reports of fire alarms at 12:51 a.m. Monday on Lynn Shore Drive, 10:25 a.m. on Lynnway, 4:28 p.m. on June Lane, and 5:09 p.m. on Alison Way. 

Assault

A report of an assault and battery at 11:17 p.m. Monday on Lynnway. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 1:22 a.m. Monday on Liberty Street, 10:13 a.m. on Ocean Street, 2:14 p.m. on Minot Street, 4:27 p.m. on Mailloux Lane, 5:26 p.m. on Liberty Street, and 6:43 p.m. on Light Street. 

Hazardous Conditions

A report of a burglar alarm at 9:04 a.m. Monday at the School Administration Building on Main Street. Building appears to be secure. 

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 10:22 a.m. Monday on Bristow Street. Animal control received an animal bite report form from Convenient MD. Services rendered.

Hazardous Road Conditions

A report of hazardous road conditions at 7:13 a.m. Monday, all over town. There was ice on the roadways. DPW emergency was notified.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 4:17 p.m. Monday on Walnut Street at Jefferson Avenue. Medical assistance refused; a report at 5:51 p.m. on Ballard Street. Caller reported an e-scooter accident. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 11:35 a.m. Monday on Vine Street. Citation issued. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 3:07 p.m. Monday on Lincoln Avenue at Ballard Street. Caller reported a juvenile on a red dirt bike and a red helmet driving in and out of traffic. Area check performed. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of a suspicious activity at 12:52 p.m. Monday on Rice Street. Caller reported some suspicious activity regarding her financial accounts. Report taken. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 9:02 a.m. Monday at Sherans Plaza on Broadway. A man called to request assistance removing an occupied camper from the back of the Sherman Plaza property. Parking ticket issued; a report at 9:30 a.m. at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Mall security reported asking two people to leave the property, who are refusing to. Area check performed.  

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 7:28 a.m. Monday on Pinehurst Avenue. Caller reported a power line down. National Grid notified.
