LYNN

Arrests 

Nicholas Babbin, 31, of Sewall Street, was arrested at 3:49 a.m. Sunday for charges of operating under the influence and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Wanderson Dos Santos, 25, of Dudley Street, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. Sunday for charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Amanda Harris, 42, of Rhodes Avenue, was arrested at 12:11 p.m. Sunday for charges of trespassing and breaking into a depository.

Ysmael Soler, 46, of Pilgrim Street, was arrested at 12:36 p.m. Sunday for charges of trespassing.

Javier Valle Gonzalez, 25, of Chatham Street, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. Sunday for charges of operating under the influence, negligent operating of a motor vehicle, and possessing alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle.

Victoria Wiles, 29, of Krewston Road, was arrested at 6:19 p.m. Sunday for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, using an electronic device while operating a motor vehicle, lights violation, and not having a license in possession.

A report of a fire alarm at 6:14 a.m. Sunday on Ocean Avenue. 

Assault

A report of assault at 3:53 p.m. Sunday on Essex Street.

A report of breaking and entering at 1:21 p.m. Sunday on Lynnway.

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 12:14 a.m. Sunday at the UPS Warehouse on the Salem Turnpike. Building appears to be secure; a report at 3:08 p.m. at Eastern Bank on Lincoln Avenue. Dispatch canceled by alarm company.  

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 4:24 p.m. Sunday on Cliff Road. The animal control officer received a text about a deceased coyote in the road and was going to retrieve it. Services rendered. 

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 4:25 a.m. Sunday at Wood Spring Extended Stay on Broadway. Caller reported that he made a reservation for a room, and they told him at the hotel that they had resold it and are now sold out. Services rendered; a report at 6:41 p.m. at Kowloon on Broadway. Caller reported a male who walked out on the bill. Report taken; a report at 7:06 p.m. at Walmart on Broadway. Caller reported an argument with a male who kept coming into the store. Investigated.  

Lost Property

A report of lost property at 1 a.m. Sunday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A walk-in dropped off a wallet that was found at the Paper Store. Services rendered. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:07 p.m. Sunday at McGovern Ford on Broadway. Removed to hospital; a report at 11:14 p.m. at Bernie and Phil’s on Broadway. Caller reported an accident. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 7:35 p.m. Sunday at Dunkin at Village Park Plaza on Main Street. Citation issued; a report at 8:46 p.m. at Macy’s at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Citation issued.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 3:24 p.m. Sunday at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. Loss prevention reported a past shoplifting. Report taken.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 11:57 a.m. Sunday at Chestnut Woods on Chestnut Street. Caller reported that two packages had been delivered to a house next to the building and are now missing. Services rendered; a report at 1:23 p.m. on Ashford Street. A woman reported suspicious activity at her residence that occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 6. Investigated.  

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 4:16 p.m. Sunday at Riverside Cemetery. Caller reported being at a gravesite of family members and stated the gravesite had been messed up including the statues. Report taken.

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 9:50 a.m. Sunday on Biscayne Avenue. Caller reported a low-hanging wire. Notified agency.
