Brian Boisson, head coach of Lynn’s co-op hockey team, admitted his Jets “started slow with too many mistakes” after one period (1-1) against Leominster Saturday.
But from there, Lynn exploded for a 7-1 win and improved to 3-3. The Jets scored 12 seconds into the second period and never looked back.
Leading a high-powered offense inside of the Wallace Civic Center were Jacoby Comeau (2 goals, assist), Anthony Alessi (2 goals, assist), Tyler Whitten (goal), Aaron Cook (goal), Marc Poste (goal, 3 assists), Pedro Lopez (2 assists), and Kyle Furlong (assist).
The Jets return to the ice Monday against Medford. Puck-drop is set for 4 p.m. inside of LoConte Rink.
