SAUGUS – Chaos once again erupted Monday outside the Tabu nightclub on Route 1, where a Dorchester man was pepper sprayed by an unknown person during a large fight.Police were dispatched to the club at 2:09 a.m. when a 21-year-old Revere man reported 10 people were threatening him with a gun.When officers arrived, they found three to four large groups of youths fighting over money, police said.Officers reported hearing “loud bangs that sounded like possible gunshots,” according to a police log. However, police searched the area and could not find any shell casings.During the fight, a 21-year-old Dorchester man was sprayed in the eyes with pepper spray by an unknown patron of the club, police said.He initially fled the area but later called police from the Salvation Army on Route 1, reporting that his eyes were burning.A 23-year-old Lowell man was attacked with a screwdriver outside the nightclub on March 7 during a fight.A 29-year-old Nashua, N.H. man was shot outside the club Nov. 4, 2007 and another man was stabbed outside Tabu on April 19, 2007.
