SALEM – A Woburn couple alleged to have been involved in a series of holdups in Lynn, Marblehead and Saugus during a 10-day crime spree remain held in custody in lieu of bail, after pleading innocent.Michael R. Reed, 29, and Christina Morando, 20, both of 41 Harrison Ave., Woburn, entered their pleas of not guilty Wednesday in Salem Superior Court to three counts of masked armed robbery and armed assault with intent to rob.Reed also denied three counts larceny from a person, destruction of property over $250, resisting arrest, assault with a dangerous weapon and a fifth charge of armed robbery while masked.Judge Howard J. Whitehead ordered Reed held on $50,000, but left the door open for a bail review at another court hearing.Morando is held at Framingham State Prison for Women on $5,000 cash.The couple allegedly robbed Toomey’s Cleaners in Lynn on Jan. 9; Beach Bluff Cleaners in Marblehead, on Jan. 12; Sizzle Tanning in Saugus on Jan. 13 and then tried to rob a female in Lynn on Jan. 19.Reed also allegedly robbed Honey Dew Donuts on Western Avenue in Lynn on Jan. 19, the day of his arrest, using a replica Glock handgun.He was arrested near the scene on River Street after fleeing from the donut shop. The weapon, which he apparently dropped as he fled out the back door, turned out to be a BB gun, police said.Following an investigation, authorities were able to link the couple to the other holdups.Their next scheduled court date is June 16 for a pretrial conference.Assistant District Attorney Kristen R.
