Six minutes later, Verrette found Ellen O’Leary in front of the net, and she gave Fenwick some insurance with her tally.Marblehead coach Sam Yawson said his team squandered a number of opportunities, including three breakways. Fox headed in a free kick by Foti Andreo, giving St. John’s a 2-0 edge. Callahan closed out the scoring when he stole the ball and scored on a breakaway.Goalkeeper Steve Pasinski recorded the shutout in his first varsity win for St. John’s.St. John’s (1-0) will play defending Division 1 State Champion St. John’s Shrewsbury today at 4 p.m. in Danvers.
