SALEM – A Lynn gang member accused of firing guns from a moving car at a house on Pinkham Street in April remains held at the Middleton Jail on $25,000 cash, after pleading innocent.Richard “Pookie” Pouk, 20, of 15 Barrett St., pleaded not guilty in Salem Superior Court to a charge of carrying a firearm without a license in connection with an incident in April.Judge David A. Lowy set the high bail on Pouk and continued his case to Oct. 24.According to reports, it was shortly after 11 p.m., on April 26 when 15 gunshots were apparently fired at the home of suspected Bloods gang members at 16 Pinkham St.Other suspects involved in the incident were Vannard Chourb, 18, Phalleen Kim, 18 and Cheanthony Sok, 17, all of Lynn. They pleaded innocent earlier on charges.Prosecutors believe the shots were fired as part of retaliation from an earlier gang incident with suspects who belong to the Crips gang.Pouk is also a suspect for firing guns from a moving car around West Lynn on July 20, 2007, which he denies.
