LYNN – A Danvers man is free on bail after being arrested Monday for a Feb. 12 bank robbery in Lynn.Sean McKinnon, 26, of 8 Bay View Ave., Danvers, was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday.According to Essex District Attorney spokesman Steve O’Connell, McKinnon was released from the police station that afternoon on $500 bail, which was set by a Lynn District Court bail clerk.McKinnon was arraigned Tuesday in court, where Judge Ellen Flatley ordered him to return April 2 for a probable cause hearing. Flatley also imposed a bail warning, meaning if McKinnon breaks the law again he could be held in jail without bail.Police reports obtained in district court do not say how police zeroed in on McKinnon. The reports did say, however, that a teller of Sovereign Bank in Market Square, which was robbed of $1,500 at about 2 p.m. on Feb. 12, positively identified McKinnon from a photo array.Police say McKinnon didn’t say a word when he passed a note that said, “Give me the money you have, no dyes, and nothing else.”According to a police report, McKinnon is a taxi driver for Community Taxi of Peabody.
