Former Lynn Tech and Memphis star Antonio Anderson will have several opportunities to showcase his talents for NBA summer league teams.Anderson has begun playing for the summer league squad of the Charlotte Bobcats this week. The Bobcats’ team opened their summer schedule with an 85-83 win over the Utah Jazz team in Orlando on Monday. Anderson played 1:29 minutes of that game and was held scoreless.Charlotte will play the squad from the NBA runner-up Boston Celtics today in Orlando. Charlotte played Oklahoma City Tuesday night.Anderson will also begin playing for Denver’s summer team on Friday. Denver plays Dallas that day before a matchup with the representative of the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.Anderson enjoyed a successful season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League. Anderson and the Vipers won the D-League championship this past season. Anderson also got an NBA call-up to the Oklahoma City Thunder and scored two points in 15 minutes of one game.
