SALEM – A Lynn man caught stealing hundreds of dollars worth of baseball cards during a Robinson Street home invasion last month has been indicted by an Essex County grand jury.Michael C. Kelley, 28, of 16A Clinton St., stands charged with breaking and entering in the night time and larceny over $250.The charges arise from an incident in Lynn when he allegedly burglarized a home at 34 Robinson St. shortly after 9 p.m.The occupant reportedly caught Kelley inside his home, chased him out and called police.Police arrested Kelley near the scene.The baseball cards, reportedly worth $800, were found on his person and confiscated by police.The indictments handed up Wednesday afternoon now move the case from Lynn District Court, where Kelley has pleaded innocent, to Salem Superior Court where he will be re-arraigned within the next few weeks.In the meantime, Kelley remains held at the Middleton Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.Assistant District Attorney Christina P. Ronan is prosecuting the case for the commonwealth.
