REVERE – A man with a large open sore is said to have robbed a MetroPCS store on Broadway Saturday evening.Revere Police say a white male suspect in his 40s or 50s, entered the store at 317 Broadway around 6:40 p.m. and demanded money from a store employee.The suspect was said to have had an infected, open sore on his left forearm and was wearing khaki pants, black boots or sneakers, a black T-shirt and a baseball hat at the time of the incident. He was also holding a large silver knife with a white handle. Police say the employee handed over upwards of $500 in $20 bills. No injuries were reported and the suspect was said to have fled the store on foot.A copy of the store?s surveillance video has been given to police.Police are also continuing to search for suspects involved in another robbery that took place at a tanning salon on Sept. 1. Two men were said to have walked into the Darque Tan salon, located at 454 American Legion Highway and forced a male customer to the ground and demanded money from an employee behind the counter.Both suspects, said to be in their late 30s, had their faces covered, wore latex gloves and ran away once they stole money and deposit slips from the register.
