REVERE – A Revere teen was ordered held without bail Monday in connection with the shooting death of a Jamaica Plain man on Sept. 29.Alen Stijakovic, 19, was arraigned at Chelsea District Court on a single count of murder stemming from 26-year-old Kareem Spurill?s death, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney?s Office.He was held without bail at the request of Assistant District Attorney David Fredette, based on witness statements and additional evidence from the investigation.Stijakovic was represented by attorney Jonathan Shapiro and is scheduled to return to court Nov. 4.Prosecutors say the investigation remains active. The night of the shooting, police responded to the area of 308 Reservoir Ave. around 7:30 p.m. Spurill was transported to Whidden Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A witness at the scene labeled the home in which Spurill was shot in front of as “weird” with a lot of “strange activity.”According to police records, in 2008, Revere Police arrested Spurill, then 24, on a Boston police warrant for attempted murder.
