LYNN – A man was shot multiple times on Newton Avenue before dawn Sunday.Lynn Police say the unidentified man was shot three times in his leg and was transported by ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.Police did not say if the incident was a drive-by or if a suspect(s) fled on foot. According to police records, two reports of gunshots were phoned in, one at 12:40 a.m., and the other at 3:50 a.m.Another report of gunshots were made on Sheridan Street around 5 a.m. Saturday.
