SALEM – Bail for a Lynn man charged with burglarizing a residence on Robinson Street in July remains at $10,000 cash following his arraignment.Michael C. Kelley, 28, of 16A Clinton St., pleaded innocent Tuesday in Salem Superior Court to charges of breaking and entering in the night time and larceny over $250.Judge Timothy Q. Feeley agreed to set the same cash bail amount that was previously established in Lynn District Court at the joint recommendation of Assistant District Attorney Christina Pujals Ronan and court-appointed defense lawyer John P. Morris.The defense may seek a bail review at another court hearing. In the meantime, Kelley remains held in lieu of bail at the Middleton Jail.The charges stem from an incident in Lynn on July 31 when Kelley allegedly burglarized a home at 34 Robinson St., shortly after 9 p.m.Kelley faces up to 10 years in state prison on the break-in charge and another five years in prison on the larceny charge.Kelley also has an unrelated case pending in Chelsea, Ronan said.
