LYNN – Police continue to investigate a paintball shooting spree Monday night that left a 17 year old struck in the eye with a paint ball pellet.The unidentified teen was said to have been shot in the area of Goldfish Pond and was transported by ambulance to North Shore Medical Center in Salem. Police say his injuries appeared to be non-life threatening, but would not elaborate on his condition.The case is now being investigated by the Youth Services Department of the Lynn Police. No further information was made available Tuesday as the investigation remains ongoing.Shortly after the shooting, police say a home in the area was vandalized along with vehicles parked in the lot of an auto body shop at the corner of Burns Street and Western Avenue. A representative of Western Avenue Auto Body of Lynn Inc., claimed to be unaware of the incident.Police records show two vandalism reports aside from the one at the body shop Monday night on Wyman and Joyce streets.Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 781-595-2000.
