LYNN – Police are searching for a man involved in a brazen armed robbery on Essex Street Sunday afternoon.Around 4:30 p.m., a victim said he was robbed at knifepoint by an unidentified black man wearing a white mask on his face. The suspect is described as 6-feet tall, 220-230 lbs., with a large build, wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt or jacket, a hat, white sneakers and either jeans or sweatpants at the time of the incident.No injuries were reported. The suspect was said to have run down Empire Street after the robbery, but police did not say what was stolen from the victim.Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 781-595-2000.
