PEABODY – A Peabody woman allegedly ran a red light while drunk Saturday in South Boston and slammed into an SUV and a state police cruiser.Britney A. Stillwell, 24, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police say Stillwell, who was driving a 2010 Honda Civic, was driving on Summer Street when she failed to stop for a red light and struck two vehicles on D Street.Stillwell hit the front end of a Jeep driven by a Boston woman and then hit the driver?s side door of a state police cruiser driven by Trooper Stephen Belanger.Police say Stillwell suffered minor injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center. Belanger and the driver of the Jeep were not injured.
