SALEM – A Peabody man caught with more than 100 illegal Percocet tablets following a motor vehicle stop in Saugus earlier this year received two to three years in state prison and will lose his driving privileges in Massachusetts for five years.Rocco Cunsolo, 23, last known address of 597R Lowell St., pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon in Salem Superior Court to a charge of possession with the intent to distribute Percocet before Judge Timothy Q. Feeley.The judge agreed to adopt the joint recommendation of Assistant District Attorney Greg A. Friedholm and defense lawyer Carlos J. Dominguez.On March 3 at about 2:15 a.m., Cunsolo was pulled over in a 2007 Audi by Saugus police for speeding on Route 1 in Saugus.Police said they seized 101 illegal Percocet tablets underneath the driver’s side of the vehicle. Cunsolo did not have a prescription for the pills.Cunsolo was indicted by an Essex County grand jury last March and has been held in lieu of a high bail at the Middleton Jail since being arraigned.Feeley also found that Cunsolo violated his probationary terms arising out of an unrelated case out of Watertown in Suffolk County and sentenced him to serve two years in state prison, which will commence immediately.
