SALEM – A Salem Superior Court jury found a 44-year-old former Lynn man guilty of raping and molesting a 12 year old.Glenn P. Christie, last known address of 46 Humphrey St., Swampscott, began his trial last week on four counts of rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under age 13 and dissemination of pornographic materials to a minor.A jury comprised of eight women and four men found him guilty on all charges after deliberating for roughly two and a half hours Monday afternoon.Judge David A. Lowy delayed sentencing until this morning at 9:30 a.m.In the meantime, Christie, who has been free on $3,000 cash bail since the onset of the case, had his bail revoked.Assistant District Attorney Michael Sheehan told the jurors in his closing summation that in the summer of 2005, the “then 12-year-old boy was away from his family and being raped by a family friend ? who told him not to tell.”Defense lawyer Sierra Rosen maintained her client was innocent and that the boy was “looking for attention” when he first disclosed the incidents to his mother.The boy, now 17, testified that Christie raped him unnaturally at his apartment at 12 Castle Rising Court #202, at the King’s Lynne complex in Lynn.
