LYNN – A Lynn woman got into a hairy argument with her husband Saturday morning when she allegedly threatened him with a knife after he refused to style her hair.Kaukauna Y. Gethers Rudolph, 51, of 145 Lewis St., #26, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, knife, and resisting arrest. She was arraigned Monday at Lynn District Court by Judge Albert Conlon and was released on personal recognizance. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 19, according to court records.Police responded to Rudolph’s home and said they could hear yelling and loud voices from outside. After a few minutes of knocking on the door, police say the 48-year-old victim answered, claiming his wife, Kaukauna Rudolph, came after him with a knife. He went on to say that the argument stemmed from her asking him to “do her hair,” while he insisted, “I don’t do hair.”Rudolph was said to have stood behind him during the conversation, saying, “I did not” with both arms behind her back. Police say it appeared as if she was hiding something and noticed a knife in her right hand. When an officer attempted to take it from her, Rudolph struggled with the officer and allegedly shoved the knife down the rear of her shorts. Another officer managed to grab the knife and threw it in the kitchen, but when they tried to place Rudolph under arrest, she kept resisting and shouted, “I have a hip replacement!”After eventually handcuffing her she was taken to the station and booked. The knife that was taken from Rudolph was measured to have a 9-inch blade with a 5-inch wooden handle.
