LYNN – A Lynn postal worker was allegedly caught dealing drugs Monday night on Washington Street. The suspect, Tommy P. Sisson, 34, of 14 Heritage Drive, was charged with possession of a class B substance, Percocet, with intent to distribute. He was arraigned Tuesday at Lynn District Court by Judge Dunbar Livingston and was released on personal recognizance. He is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 11.According to court records, members of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Lynn Police saw a car pull over and block the driveway of a house on Washington Street. After running the plate, officers saw the driver walk out of a rooming house next door and then briefly get into a Cadillac Escalade before he walked back toward the car blocking the driveway. At that point, police approached the suspect, Sisson, who said he stopped by the house to bring his friend a roast beef sandwich and left after his friend ate it. During the conversation, an officer illuminated the inside of his vehicle with a flashlight and saw a sandwich bag with blue pills inside of it.After being placed under arrest, Sisson allegedly said the pills were “perks,” meaning Percocet pills. A notebook was also found on the car seat, which police say contained names and numbers consistent with drug sales. Sisson, who was found to have a huge wad of cash in his front pant pocket totaling $831, alleged that the notebook was used for gambling. When police spoke with the man who Sisson said brought him a sandwich, he admitted that he works with him at the main branch of the Lynn Post Office and added that he didn’t bring him a roast beef sandwich, but rather a McRib from McDonald’s.During Sisson’s booking, police counted 39 Percocet pills that were in his possession and seized his cellular phone.
