LYNN – A car lost control and crashed into the Lynn Medical Center on Broad Street Saturday night after being hit by another vehicle.Lynn Police Lt. Dave Brown said the accident happened around 11 p.m., where the unidentified driver of a 2000 Honda Accord crashed into a glass window of the building, located at 121 Broad St.Brown said the initial investigation revealed that the driver of the Accord had been traveling on Broad Street going toward Swampscott and had taken a left onto Silsbee Street, when a driver of a 2007 Ford Econo van traveling on Broad Street, struck the Honda as it was turning, causing it to lose control and hit the building.Brown said no one was seriously injured in the crash.Lynn police, fire and Atlantic Ambulance responded to the scene. G&J Towing removed the vehicle and Action Board-Up Services covered the glass window of the building.Brown said the driver of the van was cited for a red light violation. He did not release the person?s name.
