SWAMPSCOTT – Police are searching for suspects involved in three recent incidents in town of theft, including an armed robbery of a Starbucks in Vinnin Square.
According to Det. Sgt. Tim Cassidy, the Spiros gas station at 640 Humphrey St., was broken Nov. 15, a home in the Roy Street area was broken into Nov. 18 while the residents were home sleeping and the latest incident happened Monday night at Starbucks.
Cassidy said the coffee shop suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, who entered the store, approached an employee and showed a handgun in his waistband. After demanding money, the suspect fled the area toward Loring Avenue in Salem.
Detectives are reviewing video surveillance of the incident in an attempt to identify the suspect.
