LYNN – A Lynn woman with a lengthy record of driving offenses allegedly drove her motorcycle while drunk Friday night and punched a State Trooper several times during her arrest.Kriss Woodbury, 45, of 35 Columbia Ave., was charged with her third offense for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct, according to court records.She was arraigned Monday at Lynn District Court by Judge James Wexler, posted $500 cash bail and is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 21, according to court records.In the meantime, Woodbury was instructed to report regularly to probation, submit to random drug screenings, abstain from alcohol or drugs, not carry any weapons, not drive, continue current counseling and obtain medical and psychiatric treatment.State Police responded to an accident on Rt. 1 southbound, where troopers found a Harley Davidson motorcycle up on a sidewalk and Woodbury leaning against a pole. When a trooper asked Woodbury what happened, she allegedly spewed obscenities and said she wanted to go home.Woodbury’s eyes were red, glassy and bloodshot, her speech slurred and a strong odor of alcohol was emanating from her breath, according to court records.When asked for her license, Woodbury again swore at the trooper and punched him several times as he attempted to get her license, breaking his glasses and cutting his forehead.As other officers rushed over, Woodbury fought back, allegedly kicking and punching them as she was placed into the cruiser.Woodbury got up and slammed her face into the booking desk and the booking camera as she was being booked.After she was placed back on the bench, Woodbury allegedly repeatedly threw herself off of the bench, injuring her face and the back of her head.Troopers say they were unable to book her at the time because she kept swearing at them and wouldn’t cooperate. She was later taken to Whidden Hospital for treatment.Police say Woodbury’s driving record dates back to 1983.
