REVERE – A fire ripped through a home at 115 Sagamore St., Monday night, causing roughly $50,000 in damages.Revere Deputy Fire Chief Christopher Bright said the blaze broke out around 4 p.m., in the single-family, ranch-style home.?We believe the fire started in a utility closet off of the kitchen,” he said. “The cause is still under investigation, so we?re not clear as to how it happened.”Bright said three people who live in the home reported seeing smoke and made it out without suffering any injuries. The roof of the home had to be ventilated, which Bright said was particularly difficult since the home had been renovated several times.?It was very labor intensive, not because it was a gigantic building, but because there was a roof on top of a roof,” he said.Residents of the home were displaced for the evening and assisted by the Red Cross.
