SALEM – A Lynn man caught peddling narcotics to an undercover officer in 2009 was handed a suspended sentence with probation following his guilty plea.Rafael Armando-Castro, 27, last known address of 27 New Park St., agreed to plead guilty Thursday to charges of possession with the intent to distribute heroin and distribution of cocaine before Superior Court Judge Timothy Q. Feeley.Armando-Castro was given two years in the House of Corrections, which was suspended, and then he was placed on two years of probation with conditions he remain drug free and consent to random drug screenings.The charges arise out of an incident in Lynn on the afternoon of Oct. 13, when Armando-Castro allegedly sold a bag of heroin, containing .21 grams, for $100 to an undercover officer on New Park Street.
