He is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on March 10.According to court documents, Saugus police detectives assigned to the Drug Enforcement Unit received a tip from a town resident about a man selling 30mg Percocet pills on Perullo Lane. With that information, police ran a record check of the suspect, Troisi, and made an arrangement with him and the tipster to purchase a few of the pills. The informant went to Troisi’s home on Feb. 4 and purchased $90 worth of Percocet, which he handed over to police at another location. Then on Feb. 9, detectives had the informant place another order with Troisi for 30 Percocet 30 mg pills and gave him $200 to do so. However, when he went to the home and walked inside the apartment with Troisi, he was told that he didn’t have enough money, so he only purchased five of the Percocet pills and left. After the detectives confirmed the sale, they went to Troisi’s home, where he was seen about to drive away in his car, and was told to stop. However, instead of getting out of his car, Troisi allegedly revved the engine and moved forward. At that point, a cruiser blocked in Troisi’s car, while another officer drew his weapon. Troisi was then pulled from his car and handcuffed. Two cellular phones were found in Troisi’s pants pockets, along with the $200 that the informant had used to buy the drugs. Inside his car, detectives found a white sock on the rear passenger seat with a plastic bag inside containing four individually wrapped bags. The four bags contained 30, 30 mg Percocet pills, 20, 30 mg Percocet pills, eight, 10 mg Percocet pills and four wraps of 4 grams of cocaine. Inside his bedroom, police found a box of clear sandwich bags and a black digital scale.
