But then we settled down and really started to rely on our defense to create offense. Fenwick held Williams to just three points in the second frame, fueling a 28-13 lead at the half.”We changed our defenses in the second quarter, showed them some different looks,” said Fenwick coach Mike Kane. “They struggled with the defense that we mixed in. We also contested every shot; I was very happy with our effort tonight.”On the offensive side, Fran Hannon led Fenwick in scoring with 13 points, adding in seven rebounds on the evening.
