LYNN – More than 300 runners showed up to Lynn Woods for the latest installment of the summer cross country race series on Wednesday.There were four races: short (2.2 miles), long (5.5 miles), kids (1.59 miles) and peewee (quarter-mile).In the short race, which featured a left turn on the Goat Path, the winner was Adam Cook of Melrose (14:15), followed by Thomas Mackin of Lynn (14:24) and Matthew Nardiello of Swampscott (14:33). The first female finisher, Elizabeth Hirsch of Swampscott, placed fourth overall (14:36).In the long race, the Reverse Handicap course, the winner was Caleb Evanter of Marblehead (32:27), followed by Mark Dawson of Peabody (32:55) and James Delucca of Beverly (35:07). Jim Pawlicki of Lynn finished fourth (35:47). The top female finisher was Deirdre Lowe of Salem (40:29).In the Kids Race, the winner was Luke Chase of Reading (11:09), followed by Robert Bracey of Medford (11:39), Anthony Delvecchio of Revere (11:54) and Thomas McGee of Lynn (12:04). The top female finishers placed seventh and eighth overall, respectively: Meghan Carney of Peabody (12:19) and Colleen Osbahr of Nahant (12:38).The top three finishers in the Peewee Quarter Mile all came from Lynn: Will Bochnak (2:00), Connor Cunningham (2:02) and Albert Imul (12:45).
