LYNN – A judge found a Revere man accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a sports bar last December to be a danger and released him on the $2,500 cash bail the defendant had already posted.Vincent DiLeone, 27, of 3 Sullivan St., Revere, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Lynn District Court to possessing/throwing an infernal device; and attempted arson of a building in connection with a Dec. 20, 2013 incident at Players Restaurant and Sports Bar on Western Avenue.Police responded to the restaurant at approximately 2 a.m. on that date on the report that somebody had thrown two Molotov cocktails at the restaurant. A fire outside the mixed-use commercial and residential building was extinguished when police arrived at the scene.A witness told police he saw two people pull up in a Jeep and then a man get out and light and throw the two Molotov cocktails at the building, Lynn Police Officer John Manning wrote in a report. The first hit the building and fell to the ground in flames while the second fell into a snowbank, the witness reported. The car then drove off and the witness got out and put out the fire, police said.Members of the Lynn Police, Lynn Fire Department and State Fire Marshal’s Office identified a possible suspect as a man who had gotten into a fight at the bar earlier that evening with five men. Police used surveillance footage to identify DiLeone and sought a warrant in January, according to court documents. Revere Police and Lynn Police arrested DiLeone in Revere Wednesday night.In a dangerousness hearing Thursday, Judge Ellen Flatley found DiLeone to be a danger, and released him on the conditions including that he stay away from Players, all victims and witnesses, report weekly to probation, remain drug- and alcohol-free and not possess any weapons, according to court documents. Flatley ordered the $2,500 bail DiLeone posted Wednesday night at the police station to stand and scheduled DiLeone to return to court Feb. 10.
