Jordan DiDonato?s walk-off single gave Danvers the 4-3 win in the eighth inning over Lynn Classical on Monday.

The Falcons (7-3) had two hits off Herbie Newton through the first seven innings but came alive in the eighth. Dan Lynch led off with a bunt single. Andrew Olszak followed with a hit that set up DiDonato?s game-winning single to right.
Andrew Dunn earned the win, allowing five hits and working out of several jams.
?(Dunn) was real tough when he needed to be,” Danvers coach Roger Day said.
St. Mary?s 6, Matignon 0
Brendan O?Neill?s two-hitter with six strikeouts led the Spartans (8-4, 6-2 Catholic Central League/Large) while Brady McLaughlin?s two hits and three RBIs paced the offense, which scored five runs in the first.
?Brendan was great once again for us,” St. Mary?s coach Derek Dana said. “He just pounded the strike zone all game.”
Swampscott 7, Peabody 3
Gavin Sullivan threw a complete game giving up six hits as the Big Blue (8-2) handed Peabody its first loss. Matt Hubauer went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI to spark the Swampscott offense.
?This is a huge win. Gavin is only a sophomore but he pitches like a veteran,” Swampscott coach Jason Calichman said.
Adrian Espinal (two hits, two RBIs), Leo Wile (two hits), Ryan Cresta (two RBIs) also contributed for Swampscott.
Peabody (10-1) got two RBIs from Bobby Tramondozzi and two hits each by Christian Morales and Ryan Collins.
Salem 6, Marblehead 4
The Magicians (5-4) were stunned by the visiting Witches (2-9). Josh Tassinari, James McCarthy, Spencer Carr and Drew Bisegna each drove in a run for Marblehead.
Bishop Fenwick 5, Cardinal Spellman 3
Matt Haley struck out 10 and allowed four hits as the Crusaders (4-6) snapped a three-game losing streak. R.J. Libby singled home Matt Townsend in the bottom of the fifth to break a 3-3 tie while Brian Fitzpatrick had a three-run double in the first.
Revere 10, Winthrop 4
Maxx Anderson went the distance and Jake DeAngelo drove in four runs for the 3-8 Patriots. Winthrop falls to 4-7.
Beverly 9, Saugus 4
Panthers (7-3) coach Dave Wilbur won his 300thcareer game as Beverly broke the game open with a six-run outburst in the fifth inning. Luke Samperi had three RBIs, while Nick Cotraro Gavin Sparkman,Ted Leathersich and Sean Hanlon all drove in runs during the fifth for Beverly.
