Lynner feels like a million bucks

LYNN – John Harrington of Lynn is the first $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “$4,000,000 Winfall” instant game that went on sale earlier this month.Harrington chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000, less taxes. He plans on using some of his winnings to take a trip, while also putting a portion into savings.Harrington’s lucky ticket was purchased at the Franco American Amvets Post located at 535 Western Ave. in Lynn. The post will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.There are five $4 million prizes and 14 additional $1 million prizes still available in the “$4,000,000 Winfall” $10 instant game.
